Glass jewelry handcrafted one bead at a time: Lisa Inglert shapes each bead from colorful glass rods at the torch in her Cincinnati studio, then strings it with sterling silver and gold into necklaces, bracelets, earrings and pendants. She practiced architecture for many years before turning to glass, and it shows in the bold colors and platonic forms that redefine the traditional round bead; her inspirations run from the retro patterns of the 1950s to the organic forms of branches and stones. Her work has won awards at local art shows, each piece is made to order, and she jokes that playing with fire is the favorite part of her day. Find it on Etsy and at Gallery 708 and Mica 12/v in Cincinnati and Hayley Gallery in New Albany.
