About Patchwork

A farmers market in your pocket. Stitching neighbors, makers and markets together.

Farmers market information is scattered and stale. Hours live on a Facebook page nobody updates, the roster lives in the manager’s head, and whether the egg guy is there this Saturday is a text message. A maker who sells at three markets and a craft show has no one place that says where they’ll be next.

Patchwork is that place. Open it and you see every market, stand and show near you, which ones are open today, who’s selling there and what they make. Follow a vendor and hear when they’re back. Order ahead and pick it up at the booth. Tap a booth on a craft show’s map and see who’s in it.

Who it’s for

Shoppers
Free, no account needed. Markets near you, closest first, with today’s hours. Market pages with parking and directions, vendor pages with what they sell, a map of every booth at the bigger shows.
Vendors and makers
Your page on the map: everything you sell, your farm stand or porch pickup, the markets and shows you attend and your next dates, orders, and a line to the people who follow you. Like a Facebook page, built for market people.
Markets and shows
The tools to run market day: applications and paperwork, the roster, who’s here today, table fees, booth maps, one notice to everyone. Vendors apply to you in a tap; you approve and they’re on the roster.

Where the listings come from

Most pages start from public sources: a market’s own site, a show’s vendor list, a county’s market directory. We mark what we aren’t sure of, and hours and seasons change, so confirm with the market before a long drive. If a page is about you, claim it and it’s yours to correct; if something is wrong on a page that isn’t yours, tell us and we’ll fix it.

What it costs

Looking is free and always will be. A vendor’s page and a market’s page are free. The parts with a price are the tools on top, and they stay cheap on purpose: Patchwork makes its money from the people who use it, not from ads or from selling who you are. Details on the pricing page.

Who makes it

Patchwork is built in Loveland, Ohio, by people who shop at these markets and know the vendors by name. It started with the markets around Cincinnati and has grown one region at a time, a list at a time. If your market or show is missing, or you run one and want in, write to us: patchworkave@gmail.com.
