Industrial Evolution Design, now shopping as ie design, is a Cincinnati hat bar and boutique that calls itself Ohio's original hat bar. Pick a wide-brim rancher hat (hand-sewn suede, or one with hand-painted thick-texture flowers) and dress it with bands, ribbons, cords, feathers, pins and sliding letters, or buy one ready-made. The shop also makes small-batch perfume rollers and sprays and hanging car diffusers in its own scents, like Cashmere Cowgirl, Cabana and Miss Dolly, and has also sold one-of-a-kind vintage lighting, decor and furniture designs.
