Menomonee Falls, WI
A Wisconsin woodshop that turns spent bourbon, whiskey and wine barrels into furniture and decor: lazy Susans and serving trays cut from barrel heads, wall clocks, side and game tables, cabinets and glass-topped coffee tables. It began as Hiawatha WoodWorks, making hardwood serving boards and carved "Chunkies" bowls in black walnut, maple and Wisconsin cherry, and still pours soy candles in mason jars and wooden dough bowls in its shop. Its small-batch coffees are roasted, then rested in bourbon or whiskey barrels, with no added flavorings. Pieces are handcrafted in Menomonee Falls, and custom engraving and builds are offered.
