New soaps this year include a Henna Shampoo Bar with coconut milk and henna powder for softness and volume (it does not color hair) and Neem Dawg Soap for dogs, with neem seed oil, plantain oil and oats to freshen a coat, soothe itchy patches and keep fleas and ticks away. The elderberry syrup is a daily tonic of elderberries, astragalus, rosehips, cinnamon and honey; ask for a sample. Look for the table at the Northside Farmers Market and at Sayler Park Sustains.
