Efflorescentmetals ("blooming metals") is a Southwest Ohio jewelry studio making handcrafted and fabricated sterling silver pieces, now and then with gold or brass, set with turquoise, moonstone, opal, garnet and whatever other stones catch the maker's eye. The designs range from nature themes (cicadas, katydids, fish, butterfly wings, stars and moons) to Southwest and cowgirl styles like conchos, bolos and snakehead pendants, along with simple rings and studs for everyday wear. The maker started metalsmithing more than ten years ago with classes at a local arts center and now works from a home studio.
