Bold, textured paintings by a self-taught artist who traded a construction career for palette knives. He works in heavy-body acrylics over complementary underpainting, sculpting florals, whimsical animals, sailboats and coastal and mountain scenes, and has lately added mixed-media pieces that layer acrylic, resin, wood and metal. Besides originals there are fine art prints, custom pet portraits, Santa cards for the holidays, and paint classes at his Trenton, Ohio studio. He shows at juried art festivals around the country and spends winters on the Florida circuit; recent honors include Best of Show at Artfest on Main in Springboro (2021) and poster artist for ArtFest Fort Myers 2026.
